Guess what..is non-formal education! is a training course aimed to increase the quality of youth work in Europe. The course will be held in Palermo in May of 2011 and lasts 8 days. The 40 participants come from the following European countries: Austria, Bulgaria, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Lithuania, Malta, Portugal, Romania, Spain, Turkey and UK.The main themes of the course are: non-formal education, participation, learning democracy and social inclusion. The aims are: facilitate the attainment of knowledge, skills and attitudes in the framework of non-formal education; increase the quality and quantity of projects using non-formal education approach; boost non-formal education reputation and sensitise about its value and impact in the field of youth work.The methodologies of the course are cooperative learning, experiential learning, peer to peer learning and participation. The main activities forecast are: team building, energiser, role play, simulation, work in small groups, OST, etc.
