?Growing up tolerance, destroying exclusion? - was a training course that took place in Liepaja, Latvia during 11-19 of June 2015. TC gathered 27 participants + 1 trainer + 1 facilitator + 3 support staff from 9 Programme countries : Latvia, Romania, Turkey, Italy, Czech Republic, Spain, Greece, Poland, Bulgaria. After recognition that a problem of social exclusion as existing and more or less actual in all the participating countries, we started from understanding and recognition of the reasons of that phenomenon, then gradually analyzed what could we do that day to save and protect social capital of the country, share experience and ideas. Concluding we underlined methods and techniques to raise the level of awareness in European and Neighboring countries relating possibilities to build more inclusive community. The main idea of this project was to make it easier for youth workers who act in the field of social exclusion to meet the needs of their target audience ? youth. The main aim of this TC was to develop and improve capacity and competences of youth workers in EU so they become able to propose youth better options to prevent or decrease exclusion. Moreover, we aim to stimulate the implementation of bigger amount of the youth projects with anti-discrimination themes. The basic concepts which were used during the TC: comparing exclusion with inclusion; discovering reasons and factors that cause social exclusion; active civil position against passive one; role of youth NGOs and local institutions; strategy for EU countries to build more inclusive society; stimulating new youth initiatives, ideas and projects. In spite of gaining new knowledge, our participants had many great opportunities to take part in discussions, debates, share and collect new pieces of experience and skills. Our TC was based on methods of non-formal educations and everything was done to provide comfortable, interesting and effective working and leisure atmosphere. Every participant was surrounded by young people from diverse cultures and nations and was successfull to get new knowledge, to improve his/her professional level as youth worker in the field of social exclusion, to learn about the features and opportunities of the Erasmus + program, and was involved in other positive options.
