As part of a Youth Exchange, the municipality Deutschkreutz and Jugendförderung Nordkreis of the German sister city Wetter (Hessen) want to perform a 11-day youth exchange. This will take place in Zell am See, Kaprun / Austria.
For the 42 participants from Germany and Austria is at the heart of youth exchanges the theme of "borders". The participants from Austria and Germany will operate as an "in between" and open up the topic in various workshops and activities. The program is designed from a mixture of content, theater education and adventure-based elements.
An important project goal is also to develop and expand the partnership between the two municipalities, while there is a joint learning, experience and support of young people from two nations always in the foreground.
Project managers aim to establish a respectful and open communication and discussion culture within the group. Through this openness to each other, they are also hoping an opening in relation to the issue of "boundaries" and an understanding of the need for partnership, participation, integration and inclusion.
