GreenPact
Start date: Aug 10, 2016, End date: Jun 9, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

GreenPact is a 10 month long project, we are partners from 10 different countries (Hungary, Spain, Poland, Lithuania, Italy, The Nederlands, Greece, Croatia, Czech Republic, Slovenia). Each partner expressed their need for innovative methods in youth work, they plan to use creative recycling with their target group, especially on disadvantaged groups. The method ’creative recycling’ is a process when we create objects out of waste materials which can be found in each household, we work with plastic, textile, paper, tetra pack, etc – these materials are available for everyone, regardless of the status quo, residency. Therefore in this project we especially target young people who are coming from disadvantaged circumstances or live with mental- or phisical disabilities, and their mentors: youth workers. Our objectives are:• to promote inclusion, creativity and ’network thinking’ in general and in youth work by using the method of creative recycling• to equip youth workers with the method of creative recycling to be able to react on environmental issues in an innovative way, transfer it to their work and reach wide public • to include young people living with disabilities in the sustainable lifestlye, support the first steps, improve their sene of initiative and creativity• to empower young people to become active citizens, through sharing of critical knowledge and understanding of a sustainable way of livingProject line:- 2016 September – Cycle up!
