Green Skills Echo is an EVS project involving 4 Swedish volunteers sent by RELEARN Suderbyn, carrying out a 5 month service in group at Echo Movement ecovillage, on an island of the delta of the Rio del Plata, in Tigre, near Buenos Aires, Argentina. Green Skills Echo focuses on the theme of learning skills needed to constructively deal with global environmental challenges and climate change. The objectives of Green Skills Echo are to offer participatory and relevant non-formal learning of skills for sustainable living; to promote gender equality and cultural diversity in daily life; to increase participants' awareness of Europe in a global context; to provide non-formal studies in Spanish, and to create visibility in Argentina and in Sweden. Permaculture gardening, ecobuilding and daily ecologic living practices will be imparted through participatory learning and group dynamics.
