The Städtische Berufsschule für Fertigungstechnik München (Urban Vocational School for Manufacturing Technology Munich) ( BSFT ) is leading the project goMOVET - Mobility Across Europe IV; with the main activities ` trainees / learners in educational establishments of vocational training and learning visits for education personnel abroad. As one of the key partners in the transfer of innovation projects MOVET I and II, the BSFT can look back on a broad range of experience in the implementation of ECVET mobility. The successes are now to be perpetuated in an enlarged consortium of vocational schools . The consortium of cooperating vocational schools consists of - Städtische Berufsschule für Fertigungstechnik München ( BSFT ) ( DE) - Technická akadémia in Spisska Nova Ves ( TASNV ) ( SK) - Fundación de la Comunidad Eifor in Valencia ( Xabec ) ( ES) - Savon koulutuskuntayhtymä in Kuopio ( Savo ) ( FI) - Syddansk Erhvervsskole in Odense (SDE ) ( DK ) - Horizon College in Hoorn (HC ) ( NL) Objectives of the BSFT are there to ... - extend the mobility for learners , - provide mobility for teaching staff on a broader basis , - - intensify the cooperation with the partners, and to stabilize , - extend the experience in the application of ECVET, - enhance the students and teachers (technical) language skills ( English ), - promote the exchange of units of learning outcomes (modules) between the partner schools, - link the teacher training at the BSFT stronger with the European work - broaden horizons in the context of mobility to other Member States and partner institutions - promote the commitment to lifelong learning for students and teachers as well as - to increase the willingness to own engagement in Europe working with teachers. The foreign partners act as host organizations for both students in initial vocational training as well as for people from the educational staff. The 30 participants for the mobility of students recruited from trainees of dual training in metal and electrical engineering (industrial mechanics, mechatronics, manufacturing, cutting and precision mechanics). To the learning visits of educational personnel abroad there will take part 22 teachers in the metal and electrical engineering from the BSFT. For the mobility of learners the foreign vocational schools offer three-week units of learning outcomes / modules that are developed according to the principles of ECVET. The intended learning outcomes (LO ) are in the range of the content of the compulsory curriculum for the respective German courses. The participants complete at the end of the stay in the host institution an assessment attesting the LO. The LO will be validated and recognized in the sending institution . To participate in this activities the students apply and will be selected by the training companies in consultation with the BSFT. The learning stays of educational staff differ in two types of mobilities. On the one hand the BSFT sends teachers to accompany the learners for a short time at the hosting vocational school . The focus is to increase the knowledge of the vocational training systems and didactic concepts and the intensification of contacts with partner schools in the foreground. On the other hand the BSFT offers smaller groups of teachers the opportunity to practice in one-week stays at the partner schools their technical and cultural skills. There new project ideas are developed and co-operation in the consortium will be amplified. Medium and long term will make the possibility of learning stays at the partner schools abroad for learners and education personnel standard in the educational program of the Städtische Berufsschule für Fertigungstechnik München.
