Golden Nets : promoting the quality of vocational training in crafts jewelry by sharing techniques and learning styles

The Golden Nets project concerns the craft sector in jewelry, involving vocational schools that prepare young people to this work to work to enhance the ability to obtain recognition of their skills in all European countries, making it more attractive and with possible mobility offering more guarantees to potential employers about the quality and certification of the training received.The project objectives are to create new or improved procedures for the recognition and validation of knowledge, skills and expertise in the craft sector in jewelry, favoring the recognition of skills and qualifications that facilitate learning, employability and professional mobility.The project participants are 10 young people selected from each school who will have the task of transferring the skills acquired during the training experience to their classmates; together with them will be their teachers, two for each school, selected from among those within their institutions undergo the validation process, recognition and measurement of learning outcomes.Activities under this short training courses on improving already known manufacturing techniques by the students as well as visits to the most significant companies in the partner country, meetings with entrepreneurs in the industry, training days aimed at teachers to define shared methodologies and ensuring recognition of needs and validation of the learning outcomes of students of their courses, allowing you to modernize their teachings, giving him an international character.The project will be managed using the Project Management Body of Knowledge which offers an optimum standard for defining startup processes, planning, escuzione, monitoring and control, ensuring the realization of the objectives, reducing risks and uncertainties and, consequently, the overall costs and time.The impact that the Golden Nets project will have its participants is for students learning and improvement of specialized techniques of precious metals ,, the development of a practical vision and experiential and possible synergies between education and employment also experiencing the their entrepreneurial attitudes, for teachers the opportunity to meet with the best practices used by colleagues by increasing the knowledge of methods and teaching techniques by comparing different teaching approaches and cross-disciplinary methods, for schools, the possibility of developing a European network of partnenariato to spread a shared model of education.The training schools involved in the project will then enable them to specialization courses for students who wish to acquire additional training the content of which will come from the results of the comparison between different teaching approaches, theoretical-practical and methodological, obtained at the conclusion of the project Golden Nets. The collaboration between them therefore continue beyond the end of the project in order to provide young people who want to enter and work in the artisan jewelry more concrete job opportunities, both dependent and entrepreneurial.
