The project will be attended by young people with disabilities from Poland and Romania, who every day are enrolled in programs that help people with disabilities exist in the labor market. Because of their disabilities they are not employed in popular professions, hence the idea to show and get them interested in simple but still used and needed professions . Participants will have the opportunity to learn the theory and practice of such professions as blacksmithing, photography, pottery, wine-making, shoe-making. In addition, the participants are going to have art and technical classes on "vanishing professions", through which they will try to express their feelings about the subjects they learn. The result of their work will be an exhibition of works prepared by the participants. The project participants will take part in workshops led by practicing craftsmen. These classes will be very helpful for young people to achieve the intended aim. The project is to serve a therapeutic role, which is to integrate people with disabilities and the non-disabled community. It also has to show that people with disabilities have a great potential and can independently perform simple activities included in above mentioned crafts.
