'Get Rid Of Traditional Handicaps, Be More Communicative'

'Get Rid of Traditional Handicaps, Be More Communicative ' project has been carried out byErasmus+Project Development Team and developed around the subject of reducing the failure of foreign language learning and teaching, increasing the success of communication, sense of necessity of a foreign language, using rich classroom materials, colloboration of taechers, teaching grammar as a communicative tool. Teachers are lack of refreshment of their university knowledge, using modern teaching methods and integrating English with the international disciplines. The existing educational policy and classic teaching methods-techniques cannot overlap this varying communicative aspects of a foreign language, so teachers are urgently in need of being aware of importance of foreign language as communication channel, ability of formulation of a new theoretical and comprehensive approach that will clearly lead to the development of a coherent and effective intercultural pedagogy, teaching an international language and new global teaching habits in terms of quality development of European dimension. This aim also involves of being concerned with European awareness that is an understanding of European geography, developing an understanding of European history and the evolution of the European Union itself. It is also involves developing an increased awareness of the participants daily lives and culture of Europeans and development of the skills which would enable them communicate with people from different cultures. It seems to be necessary that the first target group of the intended to be trained is foreign language teachers of the school. 5 English teachers who are conscious of importance of language as a communication channel and language teaching, will play the key role to carry out the Project. The teachers mentioned will manage the mobility activity ‘ Teaching Grammar Can Be Fun’ in France/ Paris by the ITC ,for 5 days.(24-28/10/2015) to be able to disseminiate the learning outcomes, they will organize the students and the school environment that includes parents and visits to some institutions. The other participants that are including 1Maths, 1 Science and Technology, 1 Turkish, 1 Arts, 1 ICT teacher are also selected according to their desire for the project and genter equality by a team consisting of an Erasmus+ officer, school director and manager assistant and the Project contact person. --The second of the mobility will be in Finland /Helsinki (17-23/06/2016)by EM instutition ,The Third one 06-10/06/2016 UK/Southampton by Lewis School of English will be carried out . Contact person and 2 other members of Erasmus+Project Development Team will manage the EU grants,monitor and check the budget not only in own organization but also in abroad to guarantee the payment of course fee,flights and pick up necessary international documents.(participation and enquiry documents) Principal is not only the authority and legal representative of the project but also volunteer for the implementation of training outcomes. Project Team has connected with the course provider in France, Finland and the UK that all participants who could perform mobility activity will stay in hotel for accommodation as the course managing director's proposal and they are also ready to guarantee the safety and protection of participants. Flights will be organized approximately two weeks ago before the starting date of the course/study visit through a travel agency that will also supply a travel insurance. As a consequence of intercommunication social media,e-mails,Skype,web-sites,maps via Internet not only offer needed information about the course's legality,intensity and success but also give sufficient knowledge about Paris/Helsinki and Southampton's geographical position, accommodation, population and history . After the mobilities, participants are expected to gain/develop linguistic and pedagogic efficiency and observing a foreign country's lifestyle, education and culture, an opportunity because of getting new friends from different countries, chatting with them and comparing their own countries ,academic stages of curriculum,national culture and geographical properties. They are also hoped to enhanced a global perspective to professional education by observing the approaches of other cultures' learning and teaching language, managing multi-culturality, content of syllabus, classroom management, tolerating mistakes , fostering independent thinking, developing effective classroom materials, teamwork in the classroom and self-evaluation. Participants and teachers increasingly will take the responsibility for thedisseminition of learning outcomes in not only in their own instutition, but in other schools and Gaziantep and Zirve University, Department of Education, Teacher Education Programs to compound positive attitudes towards teaching a foreign language with international teaching methods and techniques.
