The project is designed to improve ability to compete in the labour market for RTVMC students with mild intellectual disability or a complex disorder and for disadvantaged young people. Due to their problems and a bad environment such youngsters belonging to various risk groups, have health or behavioural problems, even addictions. Project goal is to deepen the professional knowledge, working skills, motivation, adaptation possibilities for youngsters with intellectual disorder and for disadvantaged young people; to improve their social skills; to shape students' entrepreneurship through international cooperation. The project will help strengthen a positive self- evaluation level of young people at risk; will improve their capacity to adapt to the society, to compete in the job market. International experience, gained during the project, will help to improve young people's attitudes to future work, raise their chances in the labour market, which is already feeling the lack of skilled workers, and encourage entrepreneurship. 12 students of carpenter specialty will practice in two working visits in SME’s in Tenerife and Malta, 12 metal workers’ specialty students will also work in Tenerife and Malta businesses according to their specialty. 5 students of auto-mechanics specialty will repair cars in Hamburg. 3 horseman business trainees will work by their profession in Hamburg. For project management in RTVMC will be established a working group to maintain regular contacts with partners in Spain, Germany and Malta. All students with intellectual disabilities in places of work practices will be accompanied by teachers from RTVMC to help students adapt to the new workplace; communicate in an international environment and to ensure their safety. Students will develop their professional skills, at leisure time they will gain more social skills. Youngsters will record the achievements of their work in photographs. Students' work and achievements will be continuously assessed by leading persons, by intermediate organizations designated mentors and by employers. At the end of youths working practice will be issued Europass Mobility document, which is witness of the students’ professional skills and their gained international experience. Also hosting organizations will award participants with their Certificate of participation in the international practice. Our international partners also will improve themselves their professional skills, because organizing of practice for students with intellectual disabilities and for disadvantaged young people is especially important task, what requires high professional competence of the host side. Information about the project will be disseminated in Lithuania by RTVMC and by international partners’ organizations, and impact of the project and the experience will have a residual value not only for Lithuanian partner and also for foreign partner organizations. In this way, the project will have a European added value.
