Gépész tanulók szakmai gyakorlaton Münsterben
Start date: Nov 1, 2014, End date: Oct 31, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The goal of our project is to provide on-the-job training experience for our engineering students, abroad, with special emphasy on up-to-date knowledge. Another purpose is to lure students with matura exams of grammar schools to choose engineering in our institution by offering foreign mobility programmes and increase the numbers of students who chose engineering. Last year we agreed on planning a long term programme with Munster Crafts Chamber. Both teachers and students can learn a lot from our German partner who has taken part in EU projects for decades. The team preparing the project can work well together. They know the partner and the establishment. We can use well all the facilities and possibilities given by the institution.. All through the mobilities a teacher accompanies the students staying with them. We expect that at least half of the applicants will be students with disadvantageous background. The participating students do not have any foreign travel experience.. They improved their skills on that field, too. They gained experience on real working places. By the time of the departure they will have had domestic on the job training practice. The 9 students had had their working practice place at 9 different firms according to their professional branches. The partner received students from three trades: turner, building locksmith, central heating and gas network mechanic. Three students had been selected in each trade. We could send welder students too, as the German training is the same in both professions. The students travelled 06. 2015. The transfer of experiencies had been both given inner and outer directions. We disseminate the result of our project through travelogues career and professional forums, int he local media and at international meetings.
