6 - days Study Visit “Generation -Learning -Exchange” is a follow-up project of the Study visit which took place in November 2013, in France. Seeing the results of the previous project, taking into account all the feedbacks from the partner organizations, from the participants and all the stakeholders involved and seeing the importance and need of promoting intergenerational communication and exchange and the elder generation involvement in voluntary and youth work, the partners decided to have the follow up project this time in Armenia, to have also the picture of the reality of youth organizations in Armenia and share experience and together make guaidlines which will be published on-line and also printed versions will be spread in all the countries involved. The project aims connect youth workers on one side and elder generation from other side from EECA and EU and provide opportunities for the participants to see how the elder generation is involved in youth and voluntary work in EU and share experiences and find new ways and methods of learning experience sharing of both generation. The study visit also aims to provide both generations a chance to experience practices and strategies in the participants countries and together develop practical guideline targeting especially non-profit organizations and bringing tips and advices how to improve and increase the involvement of elder generation in youth work development and voluntary work. The objectives of the Study Visit are; - to contribute to the inclusion of elder generation in voluntary work and youth work - to develop guidelines supporting the involvement of elder generation in youth and voluntary work - to promote intergenerational communication and activities - to provide opportunity for EECA and EU countries participants to exchange experience and good practices - to create new projects on the same topic between EU and non-EU partners The Study Visit will bring together 30 participants from 7 countries; Armenia, Georgia, Ukraine, France, Italy, Malta and Germany. The half of the participants from each country will be the youth workers while the 2nd half of the participants will be from elder generation. The project will take place in Armenia in July 2014.
