Gaze towards Arctic

Purpose The project's Gaze towards Arctic looking for Associations’ Nordic countries together with other stakeholders solutions to bring new residents to feel at home so that municipalities, businesses and people in a better way to welcome newly arrived health. The project surveyed already proven path and with the help of these seek appropriate solution models for the whole skull-cap area. The aim is to ensure a good reception for the immigrant so that North Calotte area perceived attractive to live and work in. Objectives The project aims to: • Improve the area's readiness to accept new labour • Increase policy makers and residents' awareness of conditions that affect the well-being of immigrant in the region so that they stay fixed accommodation in their new homes. • Lowering the threshold for the acceptance of minorities and new northerners as part of society. • Improve local communities and organizations prepared to meet foreign cultures. Nordic Associations can through this activities act as a pioneer in promoting immigrant adaptation in the region.
