Our project is a brave attempt to organize an exchange where the main aim is to encourage young people do sport and to start living healthy life. We are planing to reach this aim by organizing different kind of sport games and also to include the local people in the activities. The other important thing is that this project also aims to spread the message of peace and to break the stereotypes and prejudices between the youngsters from different countries in the city of peace, Canakkale, place with huge importance for the entire world. We will be delighted to organize the sport competitions in the name of the 100th anniversary of Canakkale battles. Every year, Turkey celebrates March 18 as the anniversary of the Canakkale [Dardanelles] victory over the Allies. 2015 is the 100th anniversary of that legendary period. This is why we chose Canakkale, as a venue for our project , in the same time with this project, involving 40 youngsters from different countries, we want to share with the world, a message for peace and to highlight the importance of this year. Playing sports and spending time outdoors is an important part of healthy development for youngsters. Organizing this kind of international project will be a good opportunity to develop the mutual understanding ad to break the barriers between the people. Also it will be chance to learn what means peace for them an what can be done in order to fight with happiness for the peace. Since this project aims to be competitive oriented, as we know, any sporting event would not be what it is without the presence of the media, participants using the information and digital technologies same time developing their skills, in the role of journalists and sports commentators will be aimed to make this project a real sport event. The project is developed in partnership with promoters whose participants are interested in the topics described above-- namely, developing themselves through sport and healthy activities, developing digital and informatics technologies in the name of peace.
