G.O.A.L. (Growing Opportunities Approaching Labour market)
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: Nov 30, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

This project, based on teachers’ mobility, follows the formative steps planned for the next three years. Our Institute, the Comprehensive High School “G: Galilei”, agrees to carry out the main formative steps. That is to say: 1) school-labor market alternation, 2) the implementation of linguistic competences (CLIL). We have planned two different kinds of meetings: 1) two 5-day-meetings (including journey) for the job shadowing activities about the school-labor alternation topic; 2) a 7-day-meeting (journey included) to participate to CLIL and school-labor alternation courses and seminars organized by formative agencies. This project is in perfect accordance with all our initiatives. We are aiming at ameliorating our teachers’ formation in order to implement the school formative proposals. We live in a disadvantaged area both from geographical and socio-economic points of view. By this project, as teachers, we are willing to deepen our methodological abilities and knowledge, which, once taught, will certificate our students’ new competences. The general idea is to show teachers that training must go through internationalization, comparison and implementation of their professional skills and cross through mobility and contact with languages and cultures 'other'. During the project will alternate moments of formal and non-formal, both in the run-up to mobility in the same mobility.Participants will have the opportunity to meet colleagues from other European countries, to exchange ideas and opinions, observe and compare strategies, methods and techniques used by those involved. They can take advantage of the training courses provided and acquire know-how in different fields (linguistic, technological, organizational, relational, procedural, educational). The skills acquired will enable participants to support, in general, the professional development of the whole school community and, ultimately, to affect the process of teaching / learning through the dissemination and subsequent rethinking of experience. The impact will be on direct and indirect participants and more widespread, initially on a working group specially formed and narrower G.O.A.L. (Growing Opportunities Approaching Labour market) (Coordinators of departments, functions Instrumental) which has the task of defining the architecture of an education and training of quality and later on all Bodies for a shared planning experience and integrated curricula. The school will implement diversified modes of dissemination that are articulated in the promotion and information measures. Among the activities, measures have been designing and advertising logos and spaces (physical and virtual) for the dissemination of project results (eg. E-twinning, creating a youtube channel, mailing list ). The Institute proponent along with all foreign partners will be involved in the dissemination and implementation of multimedia products to present in an agile and more engaging the educational value of the project and its results for the start of an innovative, stronger policy cooperation in 'optical development, growth and self-improvement.
