Brussels Education Center is a center for adult education offering language courses to students from 140 different countries within and ouside the European Union, between the age of 16 and 85. The motto of our center is 'Languages without frontiers'. We provide current, communicative, practical, cooperative and task based classes in order to match the profiles and diversity of our students (employees, unemployed, ...) and help them with their needs in society.Our European Development Plan 'Future Forms', allows us to realize our mission. We push boundaries through critical reflexion on our working methods with four structures courses allowing us to gain knowledge necessary to meet our students' needs and improve our organization.All participants are selected on the basis of their expertice and impact withing our organisation. Nico Puype and Caroline Cajot teach Dutch and will study Flipping the classroom (Alpha Collega) and autonomous learning through the analysis of mistakes (GULL), Patricia Courbillon teaches French and will study autonomous learing through the Montessori Method (LINGUA+) and Hans Smet (vice-director international exchange) will work on a future vision for our school.Through the mobilities we expect to offer our students an improved learning environment and experience that meets their expectations and profile and to further help them to make a valuable contribution to society and to better integrate in the job market.We expect the individual participants to share all insights and innovation with colleagues and local and national partners. In doing so we work on being a transparant, innovative, future oriented and successful organisation with motivated staff providing high quality education relevant to society, locally and internationally.
