Furthering international activities of Perinatus Foundation
Start date: Jun 1, 2015, End date: May 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

Perinatus Foundation owns a very specific expertise in the field of pre- and perinatal studies. This expertise is relevant in many other fields e.g. early childhood and school education, special pedagogy, midwifery, medicine, for people working in the field of any type of health care or personal development etc. The foundation delivers many different types of programmes, in the field of education training midwifes, nurses and doctors, in the field of therapy offering specialised therapy for people having experienced pre- and perinatal shock/trauma as well as in the field of scientific research. The aim of the foundation is to spread this very unique knowledge and make the necessary support available for those who need it. Therefore, the aim of the present project is to consciously build international links with organisations working in the same field, or interested to learn about our expertise, and prepare ourselves to take part in international co-operation projects, both in the field of education, as well as in the field of research. We also aim to extend our partnerships in Hungary, with the goal of reaching more of the general public, and also to start building links with early childhood education institutions. Our third goal with the present project is to offer the possibility of professional development to our staff, and to motivate our staff members to further participate in international co-operations. Participants are the team members of the foundation, who are psychologists and councellors active in education and research. We plan four events abroad, with 9 mobilities. Two of them are for learning new perspectives and methods, at the 4 day residential course of Conscious Embodiment in England, and at the ISPPM Annual Conference in Berlin. The other two activities are about teaching 3 day workshops at the invitation of Active Health Centre in Holland and Posticum Association in Romania. During the implementation of the programme, we take care to prepare our staff for the events, to arrange all logistics, to continiully share what has been learned and achieved within the team and to organise dissemination events for the wider public in Hungary. By the end of the project, we will have a 5 year strategic plan of the institution, containing further education plans of our staff, as well as direct plans of further international co-operations with the funding opportunities identified.
