The White Paper for International Voluntary Service created in 2011 draws the strategic goals for sustainability with the vision: International Voluntary Service contributing to a sustainable world, where there is a balanced coexistence between people and nature, and where conditions for health, well-being, peace and social justice are achieved and maintained for the future. The three pillars of sustainability (economic, environmental and social) are the focus of this project. CCIVS has been working on this thematic for the last decade.'Vision to Action' concentrates on strengthening capacities within the IVS movement, to generate sustainability of solid actions in the organisations participating, to provide greater capacities for youth workers, board members and young people. The different actions include a Steering meeting, uniting different organisations from the field of IVS. This team will focus on different areas of the 'V2A' project including communication, organisation of the different events and the development of the global communication campaign. The Training on 'Impact and Sustainability'; with invite a University Professor working with IVS Trainers; to provide IVS organisations with skills and tools needed to implement Impact Measurement Actions throughout the project, providing correlated data on the Impact of IVS on communities and on volunteers. The 'Training for Planning and Fundraising' will provide Youth Workers with skills and competences to implement Sustainable projects; providing information on how to plan for a successful project and how to fund it.A 'Training for Trainers on Advocacy, Visibility and Awareness raising' will train Youth Workers and Board Members to train others and to multiply capacity building actions in how to empower IVS organisations and bring new initiatives including how to approach Intergovernmental Agencies and External Stakeholders and how to communicate about the actions being developed. The 'Media and Communication Training' will provide experience and skills to long term volunteers supporting IVS organisations on how to communicate through social media, film and other mediums. 'Interregional Youth camps' will take place throughout the Summer bringing together Young People across the world who will dialogue and exchange on Sustainability and take part in hands-on actions. The Young People participating in the Training Sessions above will be expected to join a 'Interregional Youth Camps' and implement what they have learnt and exchange with the participants on the field. The results of the project will be promoted in an Exhibition in the UNESCO, connected to a Final Conference uniting IVS organisations, the results and products of 'V2A' will be shared and the future Plan of Action for this thematic will be developed. An Open Conference following this invites external stakeholders.
