From the House to the World
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: Apr 30, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project "From the World to the House"takes place in a time context when FAJDP has seen a growing success of it´s latest project, The House of Associations. Associated to the House, there are many different services that can be offered, which range from the "Associative Nest"; to the Associ'arte space; also including the Youth Information Desk.In this context, the project "From the World to the House" aims to stimulate the associative entrepreneurship, training and promoting youth associations and encourage youth mobility, making use of informal and non formal education and learning methodology. The goal is to host, in the House of Associations, three volunteers aged from 18 to 30 years, originating from very different cultures of countries: France, Turkey and Morocco. It is expected that one of the Volunteers assumes the functions of “Dinamizador” of the House; and the remaining 2 are promoting the exchange of experiences. However, considering that the CASA is a collaborative and networking space, the volunteers will be combined properly with the different nature of the associations / informal group of young people: 1. Under Network Youth; 2. Within the Environment and Interculturalism; and 3. Social and Arts.By the end of the project, the volunteers will have:1. Acquired a wide varity of knowledge, especially regarding youth associations, non-formal education and youth policies;2. Developed social skills (assertiveness, bp), team work skills, interpersonal skills, creativity, entrepreneurship (the proposed alternatives, ideas ...), flexibility, adaptability; ability to empathize; ability to solve problems; propensity to learn; ability to evaluate and integrate the difference.3. Developed soft skills such as tolerance for intercultural, recognizing the importance of diversity, competence of learning to learn, based on stages of evaluation and reflection, and a sense of entrepreneurship and initiative;Through a participatory methodology, based on their personal auto evaluation of Erasmus + JA skills certification tool, the volunteer will receive a Youthpass certificate at the end of your volunteering period. Will be essential to create moments that foster the process of reflection and awareness of participants of the learning process, which will be developed using a learning diary. For the participating organizations, it is expected that these i. reinforce cooperation and youth exchange practices, in particular, at European level; ii. establish shipping practices and hosting of volunteers increasingly favorable to their effective integration and learning ; iii. strengthen organizational culture based on values such as tolerance, intercultural and non-discrimination.As for the target group (Youth in general), it is expected that these i. increase their awareness and experience of European values such as respect for human dignity; equality, human rights, tolerance, non-discrimination, justice, solidarity and equality between men and women, among others; ii. Expand their knowledge about the European mobility; 2. Broaden your relationship skills / intercultural acceptance and acquire cultural knowledge of the countries of origin / volunteers; 3. Strengthen their activity by the additional support they end up having from the others volunteers. At the national level it is intended that the project arises the interest and encourages involvement, including from youth associations, both in promoting associative entrepreneurial initiatives, or by promoting European volunteering experiences. From a qualitative perspective it is expected that this project has an impact on more than 10,000 people, which will be linked to this project and its objectives, directly or indirectly, whether through word of mouth or the Internet.
