From Ormánság to Golden Valley across the Dráva - transborder network of thematic greenways in Hungary - Croatia preserves common ethnical, gastronomic, handicraft heritage and develop eco-tourism (GREENWAY = A WAY TO CONNECT)

Building upon the potential of the region for eco-tourism and capitalising on the richness of the natural resources in the area, the project aims at establishing a cross-border green way to promote active, environment-friendly life style, and it intends to pave the way for the promotion of the border region as a location for green tourism. The project brought together four civil society organisations looking to put the area on the green destinations map of Europe. In order to achieve this goal they will be marking the newly established green way with signs and information tables and will use the support of the project to establish several information points and visitors’ centres as the basis for the future development of the area. Expected Results: Border communities working together towards a green future
