The project "From innovative teaching to successful learning" is dedicated to both students and teachers of I Liceum Ogólnokształcące im. Św. Barbary in Chodzież. Norwich Study Centre, which has a great experience in organizing language courses for students as well as teacher trainings, is the hosting side of the project. The project involves 16 teachers, 7 teachers of foreign languages and 9 teachers of other subjects. The teachers will participate in one-week language and methodology training to gain higher language competence necessary to introduce a new, innovative form of teaching, interdisciplinary teaching.The basic criterion of selecting the participants of the project was their openess and willingness to go beyond the frame in teaching and introducing new, innovative methods of acquiring the knowledge.We hold the view that only innovative approach to teaching can build up key competences of our students . It can help them achieve not only higher language competence, but most of all strengthen their self-confidence, self-esteem and in the future find better job.
