Friends meet Friends - Breaking Barrieres

The project friends meet friends was installed in 2005, it deals with European fundamental questions and searching for answers of how young people can bring to the cultural diversity of Europe itself. In addition, this project aims to stimulate the interest of young people in motion and a health-promoting lifestyle. By the way the project should not be used as digital media consumption it will be used as an aid. At the same time learn the participants about social structures of other countries. In addition, the young people should learn the refugee issue deal in terms of shared history and an unprejudiced handling of asylum seekers, just in relation to the recent events in France.Through joint sporting activities such as canoeing, climbing and group games the team spirit, health and welfare wil be promoted. By guided workshops on topic "breaking barriers" the young participants will visit historic monuments and will perform with local refugees common sporting activities.The Youth Exchange should contribute each of the four nations. Primary the European idea and cultural diversity should be deepened, because the future is Europe, and it will be at the base realized (the youth). Such a meeting of the youth from the four nations therefore also creates greater competence and maintains the idea of tolerance. Participate to each 10 youths aged 13 to 21 years per partner country. The 40 young people should also get to know the other partner countries and cities, the youth exchange be carried out in each of the four countries in a four-year cycle. Another goal is to support the twinning association and to enable young people to the association's work. In addition, young people should have the opportunity, for example, to broaden their horizons through internships in EU countries by and chat with your new friends gained from the partner cities.
