FREJA - Music Theatre Project

FREJA-music-theater project is included in the Action Training in Youth in Action Programme. The project referred to the training of professionals working with young people with fewer opportunities through music and drama therapy, presented by educators from Sweden, Ingrid Sindhal Norelius and Peter Ivan Ericson. Education was held in Hotel "Kaj" Bluesun in Marija Bistrica for 6 working days and two days more intended for travelling. In this project has participated 21 participants from Sweden, Cyprus, Poland, Turkey and Croatia (Zagreb and Split).Within 6 days from the Swedish coach was presented FREJA methods of working with young people. In the same period was performed music - theatre activities through working with the participants. Lectures and practical part was maintained through the program every day. Upon completion of 6 days of work, the project will continue with certain dynamics. Before and after each period (in this case 6 days) will be conducted a test evaluation.Knowledge and experience of this project was transferred to another group of experts who work with young people, and through the exchange of experiences in the community this project will lead to reduction of ignorance and prejudice about the abilities of young people with fewer opportunities.
