The project contains two actions, sending and hosting each one European Volunteer in a cooperation between the youth association Aktion West-Ost and the polish foundation for European understanding “Stiftung Kreisau für europäische Verständigung”, running a center fror international youth meetings. One volunteer from Germany and one volunteer from Poland do their service in the other country from 1st of March 2016 to 1st of February 2017.Our Volunteers will prepare, carry out and evaluate projects in the field of international youth encounter. They will take part in the following tasks:- Developing and carrying out several international projects for education and encounter- Working out creative methods to convey the learning an discussing of several subjects with children and youth- Support of full-time youth workers and other volunteers leading programs for international youth encounter- Getting to know and developing methods for intercultural learning and integration in international groups- Evaluation and following-ups on projects in cooperation with othersSpecial fields of activities of the volunteer at Aktion West-Ost in Germany:- Communicating with members of the association - Keeping contact with partner organizations abroad- Editing project reports and publications- Supervision over the website of the association and project websitesSpecial fields of activities of the volunteer at Stiftung Kreisau in Poland:- Possibility to support guiding through historical educational exhibitions- Possibility to support the local kindergarden- Possibility to support symposiums and trainings for multipliers of international youthworkThe two European Volunteers will start their service at the same time, will be in regular contact and cooperate on preparing and carrying out one project for international encounter together.
