Ängelholm secondary school is a school with almost all national programs. Both vocational and academic programs are represented at the school. Hairdressing training has had an internship exchange with a school in Angers, the year 2013/14. At this stage the work of Ängelholm secondary school is to increase our international exchanges and contacts. This is to increase students knowledge, making them more attractive in the labor market. The goal of this project is to improve the skills and quality of their education. We do this by letting our students take part of another culture and gain other skills in the profession that we can´t give them in Sweden. The long term goal will benefit the students' development and enhance their skills and qualifications. One other big goal is to allow all the students who want to have the opportunity to participate in a mobility, 10 students. Each participant must have the wish to take care of an exchange student. We also place great emphasis on school attendance. They will then make an application in which they justify their needs and reasons to get going. They will also be informed what it is like to be without their family for two weeks in another country. In each class we have students who have a weak social security for various reasons, such as dandelion children( children who lives with parents with drug problems or psychological problems , we want to give these students the opportunity to experience a different culture and environment. We belive it is vital to include these students. These students are in extra need to have a safe adult that they feel they can turn to and reflect with. We will be available all the time if the student have the need to meet us. Our goal is to increase their skills in craftsmanship and enhance the quality, raise the status of their profession. This increases the employability of these students. Professional Competencies as shaving, knowledge of black hair and special sets are strong building blocks to strengthen the student's profession. Even getting the opportunity to work with people who have a different experience and view of the world than they have to increased professionalisation and security in their professional lives.
