Their aim is to influence regional development processes through speaking about desires and needs. Issues focus around the Baltic Sea Strategy, such as health, entrepreneurship and environmental issues, which are all relevant topics as well as common problems within the four regions. The youth parliament would like to continue working with some of the same issues, but with even more focus on youth unemployment, herunder personal finances and entrepreneurship. The youth parliament will discuss and work on own chosen topics within the 18 month lasting project. In this framework, they debate topics and current examples in their regions and show their results in panels with local and international politicians. They will prepare common statements on selected topics and develop an actionplan with activities. The results will be presented at the annual youth parliament in 2013.
