Since 2013/2014 the topic "A healthy school" is one important task of our daily work. We build a learning-environment, where our students feel happy and motivated. It is important for us to support the students' mental and physical health. Lots of students live in social disadvanteged families, where it is not understood to care about healthy food an physical education. With our project "Continuing and intensifying our work concerning the focus "A healthy school"" we want to attend to our duty by teaching about healthy food, physical education and mental health. Our school is not only seen as a learning place, it is also a living space. The contents of the seminar "New ressources for education" suit our work and will enrich it. Certainly we will get new ideas from this seminar.The health of our teachers is as relevant as the students ones are. The daily work with children and parents who have different social, cultural and linguistic backgrounds is often a pleasure. But it means also getting in a high degree of stress. We want to protect our teachers from stress and like to show them possibilities to reduce it.For our previous obligation concerning our focus we got three awards from the HAG (Hamburg consortium for health promotion).By attending the seminar we want to get better knowledge of new contents concerning "A healthy school" with the objective of continuing our work on our focus successfully.Our participant is a motivated and dedicated teacher, who is always looking for new ideas to advance our work. She is not only working in educating, she is also working in the headmaster team.We expect that the participant can give us detailed information about the contents of the seminar. Her knowledge will enable a successful future work on our focus "A healthy school".
