This project, part of the Erasmus + program stems from the need to improve participation in democratic life of today's youth. Thus, aims to create opportunities for constructive dialogue and interaction, empowering young people with real participation and awareness of civic responsibility. We worked real participation of young people in youth policies, for which we propose a forum between young and responsible decision makers.
- Create opportunities for constructive dialogue and interaction between young people from different backgrounds and decision makers.
- Empowering young people, especially those with fewer opportunities, with the effective participation and awareness of civic responsibility (what is called European citizenship), making them masters of their own social processes.
- Enhance youth policies through concrete proposals born of youth and exportable.
Participants were 63 young people 13-30 years of different background and condition and 17 decision makers.
The territorial framework was the province of Granada.
The methodology we used was that of non-formal education. It was dinamic and participative and mostly depend on the whole group as most part of the programme was organized by the participants.
The expected impact is the change of perspective in drawing and develop youth policies of the participating municipalities. Participative management is encouraged. We prepared a document containing proposals for the involvement of young people in the democratic life of their municipalities.
