This project covers retraining of top sportsmen/women at the end of their careers. FORMESPORT proposes to do this by setting up an experimental training and guidance system, developing new materials and methodologies to assist in the adaptation and integration of current and former sportsmen/women and improving the quality of existing training and guidance.In practice this will involve production of: an inventory of training and guidance requirements and resources; integrated services and components of the training system; teaching materials and guides for personalised teacher/tutor training; training modules; and a virtual campus for continuing training.The project also involves setting up a steering committee, a website and a communication plan for distribution to the press, radio and television.
