Start date: Jul 1, 2014, End date: Jun 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

Thanks to its previous experiences of mobility and respectful of the school project , the "Maison Familiale Rurale" ( MFR) of Saint Flour ( associative private school operated by a dual system of education) wishes to maintain its mobility actions for the coming year and the following ones. The Mobility concerns two different types of people : learners of the vocational education and training and teachers of the vocational education and training. For the learners , two class groups are concerned: pupils of second year in Vocational Training Certificate in Agriculture, horse care (Certificat d'Aptitude Professionnelle Agricole = CAPA) that can be considered as the equivalent of a post graduate legal qualification and pupils preparing the Final Secondary Vocational School Examination (Baccalauréat Professionnel = Bac Pro) Management of the Equestrian Companies (in french conduite et gestion des entreprises hippiques = CGEH) The aims for the pupils of second year in Vocational Training Certificate in Agriculture, horse care are to increase their professional knowledge, reinforce their autonomy to open their mind to the world and accept the differences. The concerned group is composed of 12 pupils often coming out of a difficult schooling and needing to gain in self- confidence. That is why the mobility takes place in a French speaking country not to put them in trouble. The host companies are of family size in order to make the cultural discovering and the professional exchanges easier. The targets for the pupils preparing the Final Secondary Vocational School Examination Management of the Equestrian Companies are the same at a slightly higher level, in addition to that there is a linguistic improvement aim. The majority of the 24 pupils composing this group is eager to quickly find a job. They are ready to discover new professional practices and aware of the fact that speaking English is very important to get a job. The working language in the host country will be English and the host companies will be of somewhat greater importance to find another professional dimension. Moreover, from 2015 this mobility will be bilateral as the MFR will welcome Belgian trainees from its partner IPEA La Reid in Belgium. In 2016 the MFR is supposed to welcome Polish trainees form its partner in Poland. The two mobility coordinators are charged with the project management and its schedule in respect of the willing of the headmaster and the president of the MFR. Partnership agreements will be signed so as all necessary documents for the good working of this mobility : training agreement, educational appendix, Europass portfolio , logbook . The impacts for beneficiaries are to reinforce their future mobility and employability. Concerning the MFR, the result is that the family involvement will increase. In the long term the MFR will benefit of a better reputation allowing it to have more candidates willing to register. For teachers of vocational training The first target is to strengthen the skills of the two concerned people permitting to offer a better flexibility in the organisation of the MFR. Those two people have been working in for a very long time, they are supposed to evolve according to the new requirements of the school programs. The other aims are - to improve their autonomy through an individual work experience abroad, -to have a better approach and understanding of mobility to make the relationships with their colleagues and pupils easier, - to be able to communicate in a foreign language, as none of the two countries is French speaking. The two teachers will be autonomous and are charged with the project management and its schedule with the help of the two mobility coordinators. The expected impact is the improvement of the students' performances on tests in the relevant subjects and better relationships with colleagues and pupils because of the same mobility experience. The result of this mobility for the MFR is essentially an easier organization of schedules. Mobility is a driving force in the development of the MFR in its working area and with its partners.
