Start date: Jun 1, 2015,
End date: May 31, 2017
Over a period of 24 months, the training scheme called “Formation Europe” will offer about twenty young graduates from the tertiary and industrial sectors the opportunity to increase the value of their initial vocational training and to acquire new skills with the aim of increasing their employability in Europe. The “Formation Europe” training scheme is a real springboard to enter the labour market. First and foremost, it will develop the applicants’ professional abilities according to the needs of the job market.
It is a multi-sector partnership. It gathers companies, socio-professional and vocational-training bodies from France, Spain, Italy, Ireland and the United Kingdom. The partnership is the result of a more than twenty-year old cooperation built within the framework of previous projects. It develops by diversifying and welcoming new partners.
The six-month mobilities will take place in the countries of our welcoming partners (namely in the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy and Germany) once it is confirmed that the profiles of the beneficiaries and their projects match the needs of the welcoming companies. The contents of the placement will be defined according to the profile of the beneficiary and his initial professional training as well as the career path he has chosen to integrate the world of work. The contents will be defined before the placement in agreement with the welcoming company and the beneficiary. The trainee will first go on an induction course and then, he will be given a specific assignment that can evolve according to his progression. The trainee will be monitored by a tutor. Each beneficiary will benefit from a three- month tailor-made training including intensive courses in foreign languages, communications and computing.
At the end of the placement and back in France a final assessment will take place to validate the skills acquired by the trainees. Beneficiaries will get a Europass mobility and a Europass CV and will be helped to find a job.
The “Formation Europe” training scheme enables young graduates to acquire new skills and is a real professional experience. It facilitates the integration into the European world of work by meeting European priorities.
