Formare profesionala in domeniul CAD si experienta de job shadowing in Mecatronica
Start date: Sep 1, 2014, End date: Aug 31, 2016 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project with the title "Training in the field of CAD and job shadowing experience in Mechatronics" reference number 2014-1-RO01-KA102-001121 was implemented over two years in the period 01.09.2014- 31.08.2016 at "Anghel Saligny" Technical College Rosiori de Vede, Teleorman, the beneficiary institution. Participating organisations were: WBS TRAINING AG, Germany which provided internship of students and ESCOLA DEL DEL Treball Ripollès Fundació PRIVADA EDUARD SOLER Spain that hosted the job shadowing for VET teachers. The first target group of the project consisted of 29 students of eleventh level in technological branch, CAD and Electromechanical Technician specializations who have undergone the practice in the field of Computer Aided Design and Measuring Techniques and 5 students of twelfth level technological branch, CAD Technician specialization, level 3 qualification, which have undergone the practice in the field of 2D Design and 3D Modelling. The second target group was composed of 4 VET teachers who have completed a job shadowing in the field of mechatronics, mechanical design and production. The specific objectives for trainees were: acquainted with the AutoCAD working surface, with operations and basic commands for creating and editing drawings; fulfilment of tasks with technical design, two-dimensional and three-dimensional drawings; making multimedia presentations for graphic design; establish and maintain professional relationships with colleagues and trainers. The specific objectives for VET staff were: assimilation, new formative skills development and modernization of methods to implement actively participating in initial training; emphasizing their professional training, improve our teaching skills and competencies in mechatronics; knowing the dual training system and the importance of integration in vocational education industry. Learners activities were: basic operations and use commands in AutoCAD 2D; drawing different designs quotas; interpretation and modification of drawings in 2D; realization in stages of a 2D drawing; visualization and interpretation of 3D presentations; completion and integration of parts in an assembly drawing; selection of measuring necessary; determination by calculating the predicted values for measured quantities; calculating part dimensions (length, area, volume, angles), surface using the geometric method. The work program for VET staff consisted of class observation, practical workshops, discussions, presentations: execution by cutting parts on CNC machines workshop; Introduction of CAD / CAM applications in the computer lab; Welding and assembly Lesson to determine the parameters of movement for setting a welding machines by points; Pneumatics lesson to present pneumatic systems; Roundtable on the topic of "internationalization" of the specialized language in the European community; Roundtable to introduce Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) a program which can detect manufacturing defects of the parts; Discussions with officials of departments; Individual study and paperwork portfolio (lesson observation sheets, design learning units). The results achieved at the end of project coincide with the proposal objectives. Short and medium term benefits: participants improved their professional skills by experimenting active student- centred learning methods; they have acquired new language skills, communication in English; social new skills: the ability to develop interpersonal relationships, increase self-confidence, teamwork; Impact achieved: increasing the attractiveness of vocational education, fulfilling the school's education plan; facilitating insertion into the labour market for the participating students - applying for jobs in the area studied; school teaching business efficiency by using materials developed in the project. The project team has learned a lot on the harmonization of training programs with labour market demands, in negotiations with foreign partners and has gained important information that will allow the future implementation of new VET mobility projects. The project team has learned a lot on the harmonization of training programs with labour market demands, in negotiations with foreign partners and has gained important information that will allow the future implementation of new VET mobility projects. We consider that entirely objectives of the project were attained, all participants have obtained good results in the final evaluation, the obtained impact wass very high, direct cooperation with partners established a sustainable and durable partnership.
