Start date: Sep 1, 2016, End date: Aug 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

The proposal for the training of these 6 school inspectors is based on the following needs: lack of specifying the score for each item in the case of tests / scorecards applied; the utilization of individual experience and the pre-acquisitions of learning of the larners; the evaluation must be oriented on the performance at the end of every educational cycle, which is reflected in the results at the national examinations; We need to upgrade trans-disciplinary assessment; addressing diverse, modern evaluation methods and techniques, proper application of the assessment toolkit; improving the knowledge, skills and experience of school inspectors with responsibilities for VET domain regarding new evaluation strategies of the teaching-learning activities for students in this field; we do not have, at this time, transfer opportunities of European best practices in the field of integration in the educational process of innovative strategies for evaluation for the technical, vocational and special education domains; firstly, we need to support the training of school inspectors from VET education, through training activities in the EU, with knowledge and skills on the use of innovative tools for assessment of teaching; the involvement of school inspectors in vocational, technical and special education, in transnational partnership projects, because most of them have never participated in mobilities within European projects; the need to share best practices with other European partners to ensure local context connection to European ones, on educational policies and practices of vocational, technical and special education at an undergraduate level, in the context described by the project. The training provider has the expertise to provide the 6 trainees (school inspectors with responsibilities for VET: 1 special education, one technical education, 4 vocational education) the opportunity, through training - job shadowing, to learn new assessment strategies in VET domain. Through the project we will meet the National Strategy requirements on professional training of the educational staff and training or support of the quality in initial and continuous professional training at undergraduate level. The main objective: to improve the institutions’ own staff's skills, school inspectors with responsibilities in vocational, technical and special education, in the European context, regarding innovative strategies of evaluation for pupils from these profiles.Specific aims: - to form, through job-shadowing type activities, in EU, 6 school inspectors (ISJ MM's own personal), regarding the use of innovative teaching strategies in the field of evaluating students from VET profile;-to consolidate and develop the skills of the 6 school inspectors (own personal) with responsibilities in coordination of schools / classes from technical, vocational and special education regarding the use of innovative teaching strategies for evaluation as a mean of encouragement the increase of the quality of education in the specific learning unities from the county. Additionally, we aim: improving the language skills of trainees; the improvement of the trainees’ skills in order to shape itself in the transnational contextBusiness training program (8 hours / day x 4 days, 23-28 April 2017), established together with the partner, will lead to the achievement of our goals. The results predicted: - 6 school inspectors responsible in initial VET professional education will be trained in EU, regarding innovative strategies in VET domain, as a premise of increasing the quality of education;- 200 school inspectors + teachers will benefit from the dissemination of the project’s results by presenting their strategies at didactic meetings, work meetings.Through the web-site and display panel of ISJ MM, at least 2,500 interested people will be informed about the project’s results;- we will increase the number of partnerships and collaborations with European institutions and organizations, and this will assure the achievement of our institutional vision and of our general objective regarding the increase of the quality in education and training at pre-university level of education (at least 2 partnerships/collaborations for the next 2 school years).
