Formare antreprenoriala pentru integrare sociala (FANIs)
Start date: Aug 1, 2016, End date: Jul 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

Based on the identified need to complement the entrepreneurship training curriculum existing now in Romania, quite unsatisfactory in developing entrepreneurial attitudes, but also in covering essential practical aspects such as providing mentoring and support for start-ups, the project aims to develop and implement a viable alternative by adapting and then delivering in Romania the course Promoting the Culture of Entrepreneurship (held in Malta in September 2016).The specific objectives of the project aim to promote the development of specialized entrepreneurial skills and attitudes through the participation of a member of Duo Alternative, trainer of trainers, to a course that combines key theoretical elements - such as dentifying marketing initiatives for the new start up sau Promoting entrepreneurship focusing on female entrepreneurship - with a mentoring module, which can then be adapted and delivered in Romania, especially for the benefit of vulnerable groups, whose social and economic integration is the mission of the association. The main activities and results of the project are the participation of Mrs. Mirela Mustata to the Promoting the Culture of Entrepreneurship course (Malta, Hamrun, 12-16.09.2016) to improve her training skill in order to further develop of the Romanian version of the course, including the practical module on mentoring and support for start-ups. This course will be delivered by Mrs. Mustata to the other three trainers of the organization and will then be promoted on the organization's website and in its activities and projects (15/10/2016 - 1.08. 2017).The Communication Plan is considering both organizational channels - website (http://www.duoalternative.ro/index.php/ro/), FB and twitter pages, work-groups, but also direct communication instruments (follow up meetings with members and others interchangeable - for example students, various events organized by members of the projects meetings etc.).The impact on the organization consists of enhanced organizational capacity through the development of an entrepreneurship course adapted to market demands in Romania; the participation of the core team of trainers to the entrepreneurship course with maximum cost-effectiveness; increasing the organization's ability to provide tailored courses; better visibility of the organization and a greater chance of obtaining funding or financing activities; developing a collaborative environment in the team trainer; identifying opportunities for partnerships and networking at national and European level. The impact on the external trainees comes from the development of entrepreneurial skills, lowered barriers to starting a business as a result of the guidance provided and networking opportunities by meeting the other course participants.Nationally, the project has an impact as well by offering an improved entrepreneurship course (mainly through its mentoring and assistance for start-ups content so much necessary in a market which abounds in theoretical courses). The project may also impact other training providers by having them replicate the model. At regional and European levels, the project will have an impact through potential partnership and know-how transfer from Duo Alternative to its network, current and future, as such an entrepreneurship training model, with its key practical elements, will generate interest for transnational partners, including other courses developed in partnership.
