WHO WE ARE Gençana is an arranged, mixed, multilingual educational centre, which takes in all educational levels from preschool to bachelor's degree. We receive 450 students aged from 1 to 18 with a medium-high socioeconomic and cultural level, generally. We are located in a quiet residential area, in nature contact, which favors the interrelationship between educational stages. Our education philosophy is based on innovation and experience in and outside the classroom. To learn is to discover, to know causes and consequences, to explore different possibilities in order to find the answer for a problem. We also have an individualized attention, with different mature groups in each course and a completely addapted individual programming by work guides. Due to our multilingual profile (spanish, valencian, english and french) we pay an enormous attention to the students' internationalization, so we are in a more global world each time and intercultural is an important key in the individual training. Every year we bet for doing exchanges and language immersion courses in other english and french speaking countries. WHY WE WANT TO TAKE PART IN ERASMUS+ PROGRAMME The main objetive of the training activities we have chosen for the Erasmus+ programme is to achieve new methodologies and gears in order to improve the teaching quality, the teachers' professional and personal profile and to transfer the acquired reflexions to the educational community. Ten professors from all educational stages (childhood, primary, secondary and bachelor's) have been chosen; they will carry out the training activities, according to the centre needings: - English courses. Improvement of the languatge knowledge and the didacticism applied to the language teaching. - Reggio-Emilia. Deepening on the school methodology, especially on the "Intercycle classroom" project, in order to be implanted next course on the childhood stage. - Finnish Schools. Job shadowing of the working phylosophy of Nordic countries education, as reference for ours, learning and adjustment to improve the classroom work. - Speech and debate. New tools for the control of oral expression in different languages (Spanish, valencian and English), by the speech and debate, in third cycle of Primary Education, Secondary and Bachelors, with the objective of creating a speech and debate club for the pupils in order to prepare them for contests in this field. WHAT WE WANT TO ACHIEVE With this training courses, it is foreseen to achieve a global impact and participation between: students, families and centre mates but also with the rest of the educational community, the institutions and the society. Improving the teaching quality, continuing with innovation at school and finding new ways of learning are the main results that are expected from this project but it is also an objective sharing them in order to benefit the teaching-learning process. The personal and professional satisfaction of the participants will be a mainstay for it. We trust this project will only be the starting point; if the targets are met (something we are sure of), in a medium and long term this project will involve more people and more areas each time, so the education process will be fuller and more inclusive.
