FORMA MENTIS - Cultural dignity for technical-scientific knowledge

The project main objective is to identify best practice for training methods to be used in the technical-scientific sectors, specifically the metalworking / metal engineering sectors. This objective arises from the changing demands of the workforce and the need to ensure competitiveness in this sector. The project will focus on identifying training needs of trainers/teachers and best practice in the metalworking industry, and on creating training schemes which will ultimately give the teachers more autonomy. By encouraging trainers to develop new capabilities and skills, it aims to promote skills transfer and to improve learning capacity. It will develop students’ and employees’ occupational skills, adaptability and entrepreneurship by offering tailored training modules. Results will be produced on CD-ROMS and DVDs.
