The project allowed eight Hungarian and eight Romanian sport clubs to enter intolong-term cooperation, and set up the INTERLEAGUE cross-border youth footballchampionship. In the winter, indoor football tournaments are held, and, during thesummer, the participating children get to meet and train in joint training camps. Thefunding was used to organize the INTERLEAGUE championship, hold a winter footballtournament in Békéscsaba, and organize training camps in Békéscsaba and Arad. Sportsinfrastructure was developed in order to make the cooperation more productive;locker rooms and shower areas were modernized, a container was purchased andsporting equipment – goals, nets, jerseys, balls – were also purchased. The fruits of thiscooperation are published on an improved website and in brochures and booklets.
