Start date: Aug 17, 2015, End date: Nov 16, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

"Foodology.eu" is a youth exchange project, created by Zagreus Cultural Association, based in Italy, with the collaboration of the organization GEYC, from Romania. The exchange activities will involve 48 young participants (20 young people per country, and 8 group leader) and it will take place in Italy on September 2015 The goal of "Foodology.eu" is combat the spread of bad eating habits among young people, guiding them towards a responsible and healty consumption and respectful for the nature. The project aims to transfer to the participants specific skills related to the theme of nutrition and the "sustainable agriculture", making him rediscover the importance of the rural traditions, the modern laboratories of permaculture and synergistic agriculture, as well as G.A.S(ethical purchasing groups) and short chains of food (Km0) The methodologies that we apply are based on "project work" and they provide a know-how through a formal approach (seminars) and informal (learning by doing, workshops, task team work). The project further aims to develop language, intercultural and digital skills of the participants and it want to provide them with the tools needed to create a blog #Foodology.eu, through which we like to disseminate stories of Italian and European good dietary practices and rural life stories. The follow up will be the implementation of that Blog/platform, involving other European countries.
