Oresund Region is the one of the leading European R&D regions within food with world leading universities and companies. The process of attracting Food KIC to Oresund region is very complex and connected with a profound and long term working effort. It will require regional consensus, international and national marketing, EU-lobbyism, and regional models for innovation and public private partnerships designed for the future challenges within the food sector in the region and KIC. Achievements: Initiated a development of the canditature of the Oresund region for the Food KIC. Established a Swedish/Danish collaboration with an model for organisation. Reports about the food sector and position paper to the EIT Strategic Innovation Agenda.
