Förderung und Integration benachteiligter Schüler durch die gezielte Anwendung von selbstorganisiertem Lernen in Theorie und Praxis
Start date: Jun 1, 2016, End date: May 31, 2017 PROJECT  FINISHED

We, that is, the teachers of the metal department of the BBS 1 technology in Kaiserslautern (Germany) want to improve the quality of teaching in our school. In particular the socially disadvantaged students, such as Asylum seekers or students with an immigrant background to benefit from it. We intend to achieve this improvement through the introduction of more student self-activity and more learning time for the students, along with the reduction of teaching time by the teacher. Because the students acquire self-organized in groups know they must cooperate with one another. They help each other in case problems occur. This promotes, among other things, the integration of disadvantaged students. A teacher who interacts more or less only by the board of the learners, this integration can not afford. Therefore Since the school year 2014/2015 we practice SOL (self-organized learning). Accompanied we will be supported by Dr. Herold (SOL Institute Ulm) and Mr Berkefeld (Fachleiter at BBS Neustadt) In the theoretical teaching is the practice at the BBS 1 technology in the 1st and 2nd year. We want this on the one hand be extended to all years of apprenticeship, on the other hand take on the self-organization in the practical instruction. In particular, in the professional practice we lack experience. For this reason, we want to send 2 colleagues of BBS Kaiserslautern for two weeks in total to the BBS Nymburk in the Czech Republic. In the first working week, to be held still in 2016, the specialized theoretical lessons should be observed, in the second week, which is scheduled in 2017, the professional practical training. The BBS Nymburk also operates a self-organized in a wide range. Due to the excellent facilities there is the Czech College will be able to transfer these self-organization in the professional practice. In local automotive lab, students are informed so that they accept possible self-organized work orders, and then verify these edit their own work.We want to bring us from Kaiserslautern in our Czech colleagues valuable suggestions. These experiences in the theoretical as well as practical instruction we will then multiply 1 technology in Kaiserslautern at the BBS and introduce the broadest possible college. In addition, a distribution of our experiences on our website is planned but also on the TwinSpace.
