Förderung der interkulturellen und sprachlichen Kompetenz von Fachlehrern
Start date: Jun 26, 2014, End date: Jun 25, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The project “Advancing the intercultural and linguistic skills of teachers” wants to deepen and enhance the intercultural and linguistic skills and thus the professionalism of teachers at the Theodor Heuss School Reutlingen. This is done in consideration of both the current and the future teaching assignment of the recipients. As one of the biggest vocational schools in Baden-Württemberg, the Theodor Heuss School is confronted with the changing demands of an increasingly unified Europe in what concerns teaching and education. This entails enabling a growing number of students to spend time abroad participating in school partnerships and mobility projects on the one hand. On the other hand, the intention is to prepare the teaching staff more thoroughly for the changing parameters. This is done in the context of the project “Advancing the intercultural and linguistic skills of teachers” in particular, which wants to enable colleagues to attend further training courses which match their individual needs and abilities.
