PROJECT
FINISHED
Our school is a small rural school that switched to a method school. Because f that, our school suffers from a huge influx of new pupils. This creates the need for different adjustments, both in terms of infrastructure as in terms of methodology.
There's a summer course in Finland , titled ' New learning environments – What kind of schools we should build in a future? ' Topics that are covered include school and classroom organisation, new methodologies for the future, use of ICT, the Finnish schoolsystem.
Next school year, we start with the KiVa project, and we would like to see how this works in Finland. The two participants are also members of the KiVa-core team at school. They are the point of contact for parents about everything related to bullying.
Main goals
* focussing a decent (re) organisation of our classes as part of our methodology (Montessori)
* introducing a scientifically based anti pest program in school.
* Using new ICT tools in the (individual) curriculum.
* Avoiding mistakes from teh past regarding infrastructure.
*Using the available budgets as efficiently as possible when buying new furniture.
The international part of the project is limited to one training in Finland (5-9 July 2015).
It is also a goal to find European partners for an international project (Etwinning or Erasmus Ka2).
