Fine arts in the development of tourism in Bácska Region (FAB)
End date: Jan 30, 2015 PROJECT  FINISHED

The overall objective of the project is to reinforce, expand and develop active socio-cultural networking, primarily in the field of fine arts, through joint art colonies and joint exhibitions promoted as a fine arts thematic cross-border tourist route. Furthermore, the project partners would like to develop artist colonies, promote common and joint artistic values within the Bácska region and at international level, fostering tourism and improving the organisational skills of NGOs. The project is being implemented in the territory of the three partner towns, all of which are in the programme area: Jánoshalma in Hungary, and Bačka Topola and Temerin in Serbia. As part of the project, all of them received new homes for the arts and become vibrant gathering places of artists and art-lovers.
