Project „Finding Europe In Your Heart” will bring together young people from three countries – Latvia, Germany and Slovenia. Latvian hosting organization The Club „The House”- Youth for United Europe and two volunteers will work together in Riga for a year from September 2015 until September 2016. The aim of the project is to raise awareness of European identity among Latvian youngsters and to inform them about the possibilities they have as European citizens. Volunteers will fulfill this aim by preparing presentations about EU institutions, values and history, teaching their mother tongues, introducing their culture in movie and tea evenings and presenting their developed informal education methods in summer camp. Meanwhile the volunteers will learn new skills and competences in the fields of non-formal education, inter-cultural dialogue, event planning and Latvian language.
