FileMaker as a Business-decision Platform in Middle Management

This project is going to take place in Germany, in Leipzig, around September 2015 and September 2016. The participants are 3rd year students of technical orientation; they are future economics.
The aim of the project is the direct involvement of participants in the working process within the new business centre, which was founded by the organisation Vitalis GmbH. The practical training will take place in the field of organisation and planning of the working processes in an office, with an emphasis on working tasks and duties of middle management. A special emphasis of the project is put on the management and acquisition of practical experience within the computer tool, named FileMaker. Modular design of this computer environment provides access to data in real time in order to fulfill the needs of all sectors within a company. Participants are also going to upgrade their knowledge of operating systems (IOS and Android), as well as various programming environments (Windows, Mac, Web). They will assist in preparation of special offers, reports, contracts. They are also going to learn about accounting procedures and preparation of an annual financial report. They will be introduced to company's quality standards.
During the linguistic preperation they are going to learn about English for specific purposes (Business English). They will learn to use it in communication through different working situations, phone conversations, small talk and socialising. They will also dedicate some time to German, to practise it for everyday communication.
Participants are going to visit several cities (Leipzig, Berlin, Dresden) to learn more about German culture and customs.
The most important of all is to strenghten the awareness of life long learning importance, which enables an effective and constant professional developement of an individual.
