The project’s „Feuerstein method implementation in school activities“ main goal- to apply Feuerstein method in schools activities in order to help students from all different educational and social backgrounds to improve their abilities of thinking and learning. Feuerstein method is a unique educational system which uses mediation, learning propensity assessment and specialized instruments in order to enhance learning potential and can be used with numerous populations in a variety of settings. The main objectives of the project: 1) To implement Learning propensity assessment device (LPAD) as newest assessment procedure in gifted education. 2) To implement Instrumental Enrichment programs (FIE) in providing support for children with various educational needs. 3) To provide methodological support for mediators. The main activities of the project will support the development and implementation of innovative practices in education at the local, national and European levels, will foster assessment and development of key competencies and equity and inclusion in education and society. Coordinating institution of the Project - National Centre for Special Needs Education and Psychology (Lithuania), partners- Charles University in Prague (Czech Republic), Hearing and Speech Correction Centre Portorož, (Slovenia), Lithuanian Educational Centre for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing, Kedainiai Sviesioji Gymnasium, S. Stanevicius secondary school, Vilnius A.Kulvietis secondary school (Lithuania).
