Our school, Fachberufsschule 2 - Klagenfurt is located in Klagenfurt, Austria´s Kärnten region. Our school provides education in 3 professional fields: office work/administration, cosmetology, trade. This would be the first time for our students to take part in a professional practice abroad and get the chance to lift their knowledge to international level. From more than 1400 students who visit our school we would like to send alltogether 16 students, 8 students from trade field and 8 hairdressers to 2 hosting countries: 4 hairdressers to the Italian GLAM hairdresser saloon and 4 other hairdressers to the Hungarian In Hair saloon, 4 students from the trade field to the Italian market leader Sogemi warehouse and 4 others to the Hungarian Neckermann travel agency. The duration of the project is 2 weeks and the realization is planned for Mach 2015. Our hairdresser students will have the opportunity to experience european quality haircut and dyeing techniques, natural hair dyes and products, the art of highlights, several tricks of bun creation, EU hygiene standards and criteria inter alia from the city of fashion - Milano. Our trade students can widen their field of knowledge on an international level during their professional practice in both countries. They can meet during their practice such european norms that defer from the national ones and learn to work with such systems and computer programmes that later they can benefit from in international companies at home. After the return home the students organize a presentation event with the title "I have participated in an EU practice", where they present their experience from abroad to their schoolmates and do a workshop as well. Thanks to the gained success in the project our school´s reputation would increase and we could positively influence the unemployment rate in our region. We hope that this application will provide a huge advancement to our teachers and students and will lift the education in our institure to higher level.
