Creativity for Change: Creative Approached for exploring Global Citizenship in Youth Work. The training brings together youth workers, youth leaders volunteers and young people. It will take place in Jan 2015 in Cork Ireland for 6 days We believe creative processes play an effective role in building empathy and connectivity. Creative facilitation can engage us in deep and meaningful learning about our selves , the world around us and with different perspectives. We believe that integrating the exploration of global citizenship into mainstream youth work will equip young people with the skills to imagine the change the want to see in the world. Learning creative expression will enhance their experience in creating that change for themselves. There will be 4 countries involved: Ireland, Itatly, The UK & Hungary. The programme will use non formal learning methods, with a focus on learning by doing and reflection on application of learning. Best Practices: Creative Approaches for Development Education in Youth Work  Boost skills and employability  Modernise education, training and youth work  Focus on young people Key Action 1: Learning Mobility of Individuals is about providing opportunities for individuals to improve their skills, enhance their employability and gain cultural awareness. Under Key Action 1 organisations can apply for funding to run mobility projects. These projects enable organisations to offer structured study, work experience, job shadowing, training and teaching opportunities abroad to learners and staff.
