Specific objectives 100%realized: -Facilitating the transition from school to work for 50% of our Xth grade students by internships under real conditions thus becoming 84 professionals ready to meet the demands of employers. This will lead to an increase of 15% of graduates employed in the next 3 years - For 90 hours, providing 8 concrete situations, examples of good practice in their fields according to European standards-certified with European instruments -Formation of self-assessment skills / responsible behavior based on European standards Technical College-sending organization (selection of beneficiaries, training, program, financial management, contracts, travel formalities, certification, dissemination).INTERCULTURAL MOBILITY FRIENDS ASSOCIATION, the intermediate organization, is the largest Portuguese organization with over 7500 participants-they offered accommodation and meals, integration of participants in the social and professional environment, responsible for the security of students, practice training preparation / cultural / language courses (Portuguese), dissemination, etc.The partner organizations RQ Gabinete Contabilidade (economic activity), MUNICIPIO Barcelos (administration), Digitelos (mechatronics), JOMICARAUTO (transport) INFORCAVADO (computing), PIMENTA DO VALE (environmental protection) João OLIVEIRA BARBOSA (mechanic) and Paderia INDEPENDENTE(pastry chefs, bakers) in the action VET learners in companies ensured the smooth running of the 90 hours of training and they will sign the certificates of mobility, etc.Participants gained further practical skills, to European standards, necessary to adapt to the requirements of the labor market and the dynamics of technological change, they developed practical skills, gained real work experience, acknowledge both the opportunities offered by the European labor market and the opportunity to study in another country.Participating in internships in a foreign country improved the image of the student in the community, in the school and at intrinsic level. The fact that they worked in a new environment, away from family (the center of his universe) helped them discover himself/herself, become independent, responsible, punctual, all this leading to an increased selfesteem.Students improved their communication skills in two languages (English and Portuguese) both in language training and through interaction with the organizations’ staff.Students had to adapt to a new cultural environment, understand and appreciate its values through the values of our culture. On the pedagogical level, the relationship student-school-community- belonging to the EU strengthen. It's hard to convince our local partners that our students can perform not only simple routine tasks, but also tasks that are complex; they will break equipment, machines, computers, etc. We are convinced, however, that we will "shake things up a bit”. The participants presented the tasks performed in Portugal, and we made progress in this regard. All these changes were beneficial for the students and they left a "trace" on the work of the highschool and teachers in particular.Teachers had to improve their teaching methods, students had higher expectations, they demanded the standard of training they had in Portugal. The project contributed to strengthen the reputation of the school, increasing the confidence of students, parents and the local community in technical schools We are aware of the fact that due to this project and the previous ones through dissemination and results we succeeded in achieving extraordinary results. It is not random that we are the only school in the county that managed to do our schooling plan fully for the 1st time after 1989 and we have the highest pass rate at Bacalureat exam.
