The project allowed us to take joint action youth a blind and visually impaired and sighted young people in terms of integration, reintegration, mobility and better mutual functioning in public space. In non-formal education, young people will meet the needs of their cultural, recreational and social. One activity was to perform daily activities without using sens of sight, in order to better understand the world of blind people through youth groups functioning in a world without vision problems. The project showed the youth the difficulties faced by blind people. The aim of the project was to develop attitudes of openness and tolerance in terms of breaking down stereotypes of thinking about people with disabilities. Specific objectives: broadening awareness of the problems and difficulties of the blind and visually impaired, the practical experience of the difficulties of everyday life of people with disabilities, awakening empathy in young people contributing to the mutual integration, development of positive patterns of behavior and mutual understanding. The project was attended by 42 people (participants, leaders, accompanying persons) with Polish and Latvian. The main activities namely youth exchange was performed on 07-15.12.2015.
